The moon influences the tide, and tide and time are one.
Time immemorial, or time out of mind, is a twist on memory: what happened so long ago that can be claimed to never have happened at all. We are afte the truth, like the moon who has a dark side and refuses to be captured on camera.
But time is only relative, maybe it has been thyme all along.

Ariel Xinyu Peng is a writer and teacher of translanguaging from Shanghai. They hold a BA in English literature from NYU and an MFA in creative nonfiction from Columbia University. Ariel’s work can be found on Reed Magazine and Shanghai Daily. They always have a meme.

Hua Hannah Zhong (they/she)

Hua Hannah Zhong is a New York-based writer-director, actor, and content creator from Shanghai. They recently completed an MFA in Film Directing at Columbia University. Their multidisciplinary work spans filmmaking, performance, and visual storytelling. Their work has been presented at International Film Festival Rotterdam, New York Asian Film Festival, Udine Far East Film Festival, and Pingyao International Film Festival.

Ang Xu is a writer from Beijing. She holds an MFA from Columbia University, where she served as editor-in-chief of Columbia Journal. Her fiction has been published in Chicago Review and Action, Spectacle. She is a recipient of the Center for Fiction Emerging Writer Fellowship.
